Bis on Main takes Chef/Owner Bobby Moore back to his roots and passion for Northwest cuisine. Chef Bobby’s creativity, curiosity, and drive have helped solidify his reputation as a highly respected chef. He strives for excellence through fresh, locally-sourced fruits and vegetables and has built strong and lasting relationships with farmers and winemakers alike.

BOBBY MOORE, CHEF/OWNER

Bobby Moore is the Owner/Chef of Bobby Moore Restaurants, which includes Bar Moore and Bis on Main in downtown Bellevue on Old Main Street. Prior to Bobby Moore Restaurants, Bobby was the Executive Chef of the Barking Frog at Willows Lodge, an award-winning luxury hotel and restaurant located in the heart of Woodinville Wine Country just 30 minutes north of Seattle.

For more than 20 years at Barking Frog, Chef Bobby was instrumental in creating Barking Frog into one of the Northwest’s premier restaurants, mentoring up-and-coming Northwest chefs, and forging deep friendships with winemakers in the heart of Washington’s wine community. Bobby has a longstanding passion for shared meals and experiences. He started working in restaurants at the age of 15, graduated from the Seattle Culinary Academy in 1997, and began his restaurant career as a dishwasher, then back waiter at Fullers in Seattle.

Bobby Moore was invited to cook at the prestigious James Beard House in May 2008 and December 2014 where he showcased the freshest cuisine from the Pacific Northwest. Chef Bobby is passionate about feeding the community and has been helped FareStart provide nutritious meals to disadvantaged families in the Seattle area for many years. Bobby and his wife have two sons and love to hike, laugh, and cook a great meal with good friends and wine.
